James Anthony Mulder, 56, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019, at the University of Kentucky Bluegrass Hospice Care Center. Born on June 15, 1963, in Versailles, he was the son of the late John William Mulder and the late Georgia Bell Lyvers Howard. He was a groom at Keeneland and a member of The House of Prayer in Versailles. In addition to his wife, Lorene Watkins Mulder, Lexington; he is survived by two sons, Blake (Kelly) Anthony Mulder, Ohio; and Bobby Mulder, Frankfort; a stepdaughter, Renee (Dalton) Wilcoxson; a brother, Maurice (Glenda) Mulder, Versailles; two sisters, Mae Mulder and Patricia Howard, both of Versailles; five grandchildren, Blake Mulder Jr., Nevaeh Mulder, Brooke Mulder, Adeline Wilcoxson and Tobias Ryder; three uncles, William (Susie) Lyvers, J.C. (Carolyn) Lyvers and James (Dorothy) Lyvers; and nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Louise Mulder; and two brothers, Robert Mulder and Will Mulder. Services were conducted Monday, Oct. 14, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by Bishop Rodney Douglas. Pallbearers were Dalton Wilcoxson, Jermaine Mulder, William Mulder, Spencer Hughes, Ike Hughes, Donald McKinney and Maurice Mulder Jr. Interment followed in Steele Cemetery.
