CTBI reports 3rd quarter earnings

On Oct. 16, 2019, the Board of Directors of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., (NASDAQ-CTBI) reported earnings for the third quarter 2019 of $15.3 million, or $0.86 per basic share, compared to $18.3 million, or $1.03 per basic share, earned during the second quarter 2019 and $16.1 million, or $0.91 per basic share, earned during the third quarter 2018. Earnings for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2019 were $48.5 million, or $2.74 per basic share, compared to $43.5 million, or $2.46 per basic share, earned during the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2018. Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., with assets of $4.3 billion, is headquartered in Pikeville and has 70 banking locations across Kentucky, including two in Versailles, six banking locations in southern West Virginia, three banking locations in northeastern Tennessee, four trust offices across Kentucky, and one trust office in Tennessee.
