Frankie Morris Shuck, 69, husband of Rosemary Shuck, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at Baptist Health Lexington. Born on March 18, 1950, in Woodford County, he was the son of the late John and Edna Huffman Shuck. He was retired from 48 years of service at the Versailles Fire Department. During his time with the fire department, he served for 28 years as fire chief. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and a member of Versailles United Methodist Church. Frankie will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 51 years, Rosemary Lancaster Shuck, Versailles; two daughters, Lisa (Wade) Gayle Slama, Versailles; and Crissy (Cheryl Leopaldi), Louise Shuck, Orlando, Florida; two grandchildren, Korrigan and Landon Blankenship, Versailles; four brothers, Razz (Shirley) Shuck, Bill (Vergie) Shuck, both of Versailles; Eddie Shuck and Bobby Shuck; and his beloved dogs, Bluebell, Stormy Rose, Miss Martha and Liberty Sue. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Henry Shuck, Jimmy Shuck, Tommy Shuck and Aggie Stockdale; and a nephew, Todd Lancaster. Services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Versailles United Methodist Church. Pallbearers were Russell Neely, Fred Siegelman, Mike Spalding, Dr. Loyde Jolly, Steve Henehan and Chief Bubba Brumfield. Interment followed in Versailles Cemetery.
