Jerald D. Fryrear, 90, husband of Thelma Tipton Fryrear, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2019. Born on Oct. 29, 1929, in Grayson County, he was the son of the late John and Mary Board Fryraer. He worked for DuPont for 35 years and was a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Mark Fryrear, Louisville; three stepsons, Michael Thomas, Tommy Thomas, both of Versailles; and Mark Thomas, Georgetown; and a niece, Grace Knopp, Louisville. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by the Rev. Todd Lester. Casket bearers will be Michael Thomas, Mark Thomas, Austin Baker, Mark Agee, Chip Guillot and Zach Rankin. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.clarklegacycenter.com.
