Olson P. Woodside, 76, husband of Kathleen Wingate Woodside, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019. Born on March 30, 1943, in Versailles, he was the son of the late Delmar Berry and Hattie Bell Martin Woodside. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sherry Woodside, Frankfort; two sons, Mike Woodside and Tommy (Suzanne) Woodside, both of Frankfort; and a niece, Beth Garrett Gribbons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Woodside and Carol Garrett; a brother, Kelly Woodside; and a grandson, Andrew Thomas Woodside. Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort, by the Rev. Todd Lester. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Aaron Stratton, Levi Woodside, Kyle Woodside, Shane Woodside, Tanner Woodside, and Logan Gabbard. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Amber Carmack, Ashley (Chris) Ford, Shayla Durham, Trace Woodside, Addison Carmack, Lane Parker, Willow Ford, and Grayson Allnut. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, Ky. 40504.
