Introducing: Woodford Sports Weekly

With the arrival of 2020 comes a new decade full of promise and possibilities. It’s with that idea in mind that I have the pleasure of introducing the Sun’s newest venture, Woodford Sports Weekly. Woodford Sports Weekly (WSW) will be a Sunday show appearing on the Sun’s Facebook page and Youtube channel that features highlights, interviews, guests, analysis, and whatever else we can think to pack into an approximately 10-15 minute long show that goes over the latest in Woodford County sports. Hosted by yours truly, the show will help bridge the gap between our Thursday issues of the Sun to keep our sports coverage stay a little more fresh each week between print. The show will also give myself and the athletes a chance to express our personalities in a way that can’t quite be captured in writing. We hope you’ll join us every Sunday on Facebook and Youtube. Simply search “Woodford Sun” on Facebook if you don’t already follow us, and find the show on its dedicated Youtube channel “Woodford Sports Weekly.” Please subscribe and tell your friends as we get this show off and running to start the new year. The first episode made its debut Sunday, Jan. 5 and can be revisited at any time.
