Mike Richardson, 63, husband of Ka Richardson, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020. A native of Versailles, he was born on April 7, 1956 to Retta Updike Richardson and the late Charles Richardson. Mike loved going to yard sales, and enjoyed horses, trail riding, fishing, and hunting. His whole world was Ka, they were never separate. He was always very respectful of her and taught her so very much, helping her overcome many obstacles and fears. Mike’s favorite thing to say was “Has anybody seen my wife!?!” He had a strong personality and always said “If I didn’t hear it, you didn’t say it!” In addition to his mother and his wife of 12 years, he is survived by his sister, Sandra (Michael) Roark, Versailles; his nephews, Norman Craig, Richmond, Bobby Craig, Versailles; and Shawn Roark, Versailles; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
