Hallie Biggs Richardson, 77, widow of James Richardson, of Frankfort, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born on Feb. 16, 1942, in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Sylvania Davidson Biggs. She was a graduate of Versailles High School and a former employee of Union Underwear Company in Frankfort. Survivors include three children, David Lee Richardson, Owenton; Brenda Howard, Paris; and James Richardson Jr., Frankfort; a sister, Helen Richardson; a brother, Eugene Biggs; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Marie Spiegel; and two brothers, Clayton Biggs and Robert “Bobby” Biggs. Services were conducted Friday, Jan. 24, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, by Minister Derrick Sumerel. A private burial for the family will be at a later date in Nonesuch Cemetery.
