Ret. Master Sgt. Robert Charles Ginter, 84, husband of Betty Ann Schultz Ginter, died Sunday, March 22, 2020. Born on April 4, 1935, in Woodford County, he was the son of the late William Luther and Jessie Belle Clark Ginter. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and served two tours in Vietnam. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Robin Parra-Ginter, California; and Kimberly (Tony Hammons) Jo Wilson, Versailles; two sisters, Betty Jo Ginter, Versailles; and Joyce Ann Hockensmith, Nashville; two brothers, John Wayne Ginter and Barry Allen Ginter, both of Woodford County; three grandchildren, Joshua Ray Parra, Crystal Marie Parra-Nquyen and Robert David Howard; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be private. Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford County Humane Society.
