Frankfort man killed in wreck

Woodford Sun Staff Report The Woodford County Coroner’s Office said Alfred R. Marmolejo, 23, of Frankfort, died after the vehicle he was in rear-ended a tractor on U.S. 60 West in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 16. A deputy coroner said Marmolejo was pronounced dead at 5:45 a.m. after the collision with a tractor belonging to the state that was on its way to remove a fallen tree from the road. The cause of the accident, which occurred during rainy conditions, is under investigation.
