Misdemeanors Alcohol intoxication in a public place – Tyson Douglas, 200 Douglas Avenue, combined with second-degree disorderly conduct, $185.50 plus two days with credit; Daryl J. Greenlee, 228 Clifton Road, combined with violation of Kentucky EPO, $185.50 plus three days with credit; Burnett N. Shea, 810 Tyrone Pike, $200.50. Assault, fourth-degree, domestic violence (minor injury) – Luis Garcia, 3030 Scotts Ferry Road, seven days with credit. Police Reports Versailles police responded to four vehicle accidents involving injuries, 16 non-injury accidents, three domestic-related complaints, issued three citations/summonses and made two arrests. On June 18 at 12:51 a.m., a Nissan Xterra driven by Tonya L. White, 46, of Lexington, was eastbound on I-64 near mile marker 66 when it was rear-ended by a Kia Forte driven by Donna J. Chadwell, 43, of Lexington. The Xterra struck a cable barrier and 22 posts, while the Forte came to rest in the emergency lane. Chadwell was taken to UK Chandler Hospital. Police say inattention on the part of Chadwell was a factor in the wreck. On June 12 at 12:39 a.m., a Yamaha XVS-650 ridden by Matthew S. Sparks, 23, of Nicholasville, was northbound on Pinckard Pike when it left the right side of the road and struck a wood and wire fence and a wooden post. Sparks was pronounced dead at the scene by the Woodford County Coroner’s office. Police say he was wearing a helmet. On June 23 at 5:45 a.m., a Nissan Altima driven by Ami J. Cobane, 25, of Lexington, was southbound on Pisgah Pike when it left the right side of the road and struck a tree. Police say she lost consciousness before the crash, possibly as the result of a medical condition. She was taken to UK Chandler Hospital. On June 23 at 12:11 a.m., a Nissan Pathfinder driven by Ashley N. Pennington, 38, of 130 Macey Boulevard, struck Mary Hughes, 83, of 301 Lexington Street, as Hughes crossed North Locust Street in the crosswalk. Hughes was taken to UK Chandler Hospital. Police say Pennington failed to yield. On June 30, identity theft was reported at a home on Oak Hill Lane. On June 20, police made an arrest on Clifton Road for violating a Kentucky EPO. On June 26, harassment, physical contact (no injury) was reported on Oregon Road. On June 23, police issued a citation/summons at Woodford County Middle School for possession of Xanax. On June 24, a pool heater worth $2,600 was reported stolen from a home on Seth Drive. On June 26, shoplifting was reported at a Lexington Street store. On June 25, $950 in gasoline was reported stolen from a vehicle at a home on the Delaney Ferry Extension. On June 23, police issued a citation/summons on Lexington Road for possession of marijuana and speeding. On June 23, police issued a citation/summons on North Main Street for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding. On June 23, a Troy Bilt 42-inch garden tractor worth $1,000 was reported stolen from a home on Huntertown Road. Fire Reports City Firefighters made six EMS assists and installed one car seat from June 23 to 29. On June 23, they responded to a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of North Locust and Lexington streets. On June 24, they responded to a vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Lexington Street and Laval Heights. On June 24, they investigated a controlled burn between Abbey Road and Tyrone Pike. On June 29, they responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of the U.S. 60 Bypass and Big Sink Road.

County Firefighters made three EMS assists from June 23 to 29. On June 23, they responded to a vehicle accident on Pisgah Pike. On June 25, they responded to a controlled burn on Village Drive and a vehicle accident on the Bluegrass Parkway. On June 26, they responded to a vehicle accident on Pisgah Pike. On June 27, they investigated an illegal burn on Troy Pike. On June 28, they responded to vehicle accidents on Leestown Road and Old Frankfort Pike.
