Kimberly Dawn McDannold , wife of Lewis “Buddy” McDannold, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020. Born on Oct. 4, 1962, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late Donnie Scott Rogers and Nancy Jayne Rogers. She was a graduate of Shelby County High School and Kentucky State. She was an active member of Christ Fellowship Church and Cherokee Chicks Golf League. In addition to her husband of 34 years, she is survived by three children, Ashley (Daniel) Marsaa, Troy McDannold and Khristian (Christie) McDannold (Christie); five granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jeff (Sheri) Rogers and Mike Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jason McDannold. A graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Rose Crest Cemetery, by the Rev. Larry Blackford Sr. Pallbearers will be Jeff Rogers, Mike Rogers, Daniel Marssa, Brian Nesselrode, Matt Dawkins and Patrick Massie. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Turner, Jerry English, Billy Wagers and Buck Lowe. Masks and social distancing will be required.
