Jillian Carney awarded scholarship

The American Legion Post 67 of Versailles has awarded a scholarship to Jillian Carney of Versailles. She is a 2020 graduate of Woodford County High School and will be attending Bluegrass Community and Technical College this fall and working towards a diploma in pharmacy tech. Her future plans include earning a bachelor’s degree and attending pharmacy school. Carney is the daughter of Post 67 Legionaire Kevin Carney. Graduating high school seniors may submit applications for scholarships if their parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles are members of Post 67 as Legionaires, Sons of the American Legion or the American Legion Auxiliary.
