Johnson to run for Versailles council
Hello, Versailles! As you make many important decisions in this years’ general election, please remember that city voters may choose up to six members for Versailles City Council and I would like to earn your vote. After a career in the pharmaceutical industry, I founded “Mentors & Meals,” a non-profit to enhance academic achievement in middle school students through inter-generational mentoring. In Woodford County, I am Chair of the Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (ASAP), Co-Chair, Chamber of Commerce Women in Business, Leadership Woodford County graduate, 2018 and Woodford Hall of Fame recipient, 2020 If elected, I will work hard to increase economic impact through tourism and new business development, be a champion for job skills training, and encourage arts, retail, and recreation in our city. Together, we can build a stronger community and help Versailles achieve its full potential. I graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio with a degree in Business Administration and received a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kentucky. I am proud to be a Woodford Countian and would be honored to serve on Versailles City Council.
