John W. Shuck, 87, husband of Virgie Goins Shuck, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born on Nov. 27, 1932, in Jefferson County, he was the son of the late John and Edna Huffman Shuck. He was a Kuhlman Electric employee for 17 years and served in the United States Airforce. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Johnny William Shuck, David Bradley Shuck, Jerry Lee Lancaster and Gary Wayne Lancaster; three brothers, Razz (Shirley) Shuck, Eddie Shuck and Bobby Shuck; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Tommy Shuck, Jimmy Shuck, Henry Shuck and Frankie Shuck; and a sister, Aggie Shuck Stockdale. A graveside service with military honors was conducted Monday, Sept. 28, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville.
