Linda Lee Lynn, 76, of Versailles, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at her son’s home in Lexington.
She was born on Aug. 21, 1944, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Hurst High School. She worked working for American Airlines. She relocated to Versailles in 1974. Over the years, she held positions with VR Wesson, Kmart and YH America.
Survivors include a son, Jay Hamilton, Lexington; a daughter, Dori Driver, Louisville; a granddaughter, Mahli Driver, Louisville; and a half-sister Nancy Bakewell, Morganton, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul W. Lynn; her mother, Madeline Goss Lynn; and a sister, Donna Lynn.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, by the Rev. Tim Thompson. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at the funeral home. Due to current gathering restrictions those attending services must wear proper facial coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.
