Clara Abshear Brumback, 85, wife of James Brumback, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at her home.

Born on March 5, 1935, in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Bush Abshear.

In addition to her husband of 66 years, she is survived by three children, Steve Brumback, David Brumback, both of Versailles; and Marcie (Vaughn) Sandlin, Scott County; two grandchildren, Carin Brumback and Jessica Burgess; two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Peyton; and three siblings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings and a grandson, Stevie Brumback, II

A private service was held at Rose Crest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodford Humane Society, P.O. Box 44, Versailles, Ky. 40383.
