Betty A. Doolin Ginter, 83, wife of Tom Ginter, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020.

Born on Sept. 5, 1937, in Jessamine County, she was the daughter of the late Thurman and Estelle Caskey Doolin. She was an employee of Dixie Cup and a member of Versailles Church of God.

In addition to her husband of 67 years, she is survived by a son, James Thomas Ginter, Callahan, Florida; two sisters, Lola (Cecil) Woolums, Lexington; and Barbara Kay Clark, Versailles; a brother, Drexel (Amila) Doolin, Albuquerque, New Mexico; three grandsons, three granddaughters, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Ginter Columbia; and two sisters, Bessie Pearl Doolin Ginter and Yvonne Doolin Rodgers.

Services were held Saturday, Oct. 24, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, by the Rev. Frank Layne. Pallbearers were Brad McNeese, Ben McNeese, David Columbia, Gary Columbia, James Ginter and Tyler McNeese. Burial followed in Rose Crest Cemetery.
