Mike Martin, 67, husband of Diane Coovert Martin, died Friday, April 23,


He was born on June 4, 1953 in Hampton, Ohio. He was a tow truck driver

for Carey’s Towing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Leslie White,

Michael (Stephanie) Coovert, both of Versailles; Martin (Nina) Coovert

and Steven (Felicia) Coovert; a brother, Danny Martin, Lawrenceburg; and

four grandchildren, Matthew Coovert, Alexis Coovert, Jake White and

Brianna Coovert. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hailey White.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, April 29, at Clark

Legacy Center, Versailles Road, by the Rev. Frank Layne. Casket bearers

will be Michael Coovert, Martin Coovert, Steven Coovert, Wayne Aldridge,

Sammy Martin and Eddie Carey. Honorary casket bearer will be Chase

Carey. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery.
