Midway University announces no tuition increases for 2021-22;remains one of the most affordable priv

Midway University’s Board of Trustees once again will not raise tuition for any of its programs as well as room and board rates for the upcoming academic year (2021-22). Additionally, the tuition rate for the RN-BSN program will be lowered, making that rate the most affordable in the region and much of the state. “The University has held its tuition rates without any increases for several years,” said Dr. John P. Marsden, President, Midway University. “It is important to ensure our programs remain affordable and accessible for those seeking a private education.” “When we compare ourselves to other traditional undergraduate institutions, we are the most affordable in the Bluegrass region and one of the most affordable in the state,” said Marsden. “Comparing our online undergraduate and graduate programs, we are the most affordable in this region when looking at tuition rates and credit hours needed to earn a degree. Our Master of Education and Master of Science in Nursing tuition rates are the lowest in the state and our MBA program is one of the most affordable in the region and can be completed in 12 months.” Outside ranking organizations have also focused on the tuition rates of Midway University’s graduate programs over the last few years. Most recently, Midway University was recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Affordable Online Masters Programs. “While keeping costs low, the quality of our programs always remains the focus,” added Marsden. “This year Midway University completed several major renovation and construction projects without incurring any new debt. This is important to help us keep our expenses down and ensure our education is affordable for students and their families. As we grow, we continue to work to keep our class sizes small enabling our faculty to focus on each student. We believe Midway University is a great choice for traditional and non-traditional students as we keep our focus on students first.”
