Reckless driving – George S. Berends, $243; Jeffrey K. Graf, combined with possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, $278. Disregarding traffic light – Amonte R. Burnett, combined with operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license and possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, $428. Failure to wear seatbelt – Joshua R. Hall, $25. No operator’s license in possession – Diana O. Martinez, $193. No operator’s license – Owen G. Ritchie, $243.

Misdemeanors Joyriding – Jonathan D. Crawford, Danville, $185.50 plus time served. Possession of controlled substance, second-degree – Billy R. McIntyre, 130 South Hill Road, combined with DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia, $810.50 plus 12 months with credit probated for two years. Police Reports Versailles police responded to two motor vehicle accidents involving injuries, seven non-injury accidents and made three arrests. On Dec. 18 at 11:24 a.m., a Volvo VNL driven by Igor A. Kramar, 34, of Canistota, S.D., was eastbound on the Bluegrass Parkway when his vehicle was struck by a Toyota Tundra driven by Joseph S. Anderson, 63, of Harrodsburg, as Anderson’s vehicle was attempting to merge from the emergency lane. Anderson was taken to UK Chandler Hospital. On Dec. 20 at noon, a Nissan Sentra driven by Christopher D. Lewis, 42, of Harrodsburg, was eastbound on the Bluegrass Parkway exit ramp at mile marker 72 attempting to turn left onto U.S. 60 while a Chevrolet Malibu driven by Steven Peavler, 29, or 116 Brampton Place, was eastbound on U.S. 60 East. Lewis turned into the path of Peavler, and Peavler’s vehicle traveled across the center line and struck a Ford Focus driven by John G. Fuchs, 63, of 20 Cooper Road. At least one person was taken to Bluegrass Community Hospital, but the police report does not indicate who that was. On Dec. 27, police made an arrest on Macey Avenue for violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO. On Dec. 27, two Air Pods and other items worth a total of $1,065 were reported stolen from a vehicle on Russell Avenue. On Dec. 27, police arrested a fugitive on a warrant on Wooldridge Lane. On Dec. 22, two forged checks were reported at a bank on Marsailles Road. On Dec. 23, a catalytic converter and sensors worth a total of $3,367.85 were reported stolen at a Paynes Mill Road church. On Dec. 22, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Marsailles Road that caused $2,000 in damage to a mailbox and a fire hydrant. On Dec. 22, police made an arrest on Snowy Lane for the theft of copper tubing. On Dec. 21, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Shannon Run Road. On Dec. 21, a mailbox on Hifner Road was reported vandalized. Fire Reports City Firefighters made three EMS assists, had one run cancelled en route and installed one car seat from Dec. 22 to Dec. 28. On Dec. 22, they responded to a false alarm at Margaret Hall Manor, a natural gas leak in Bluegrass Community Hospital and a false alarm at The Phoenix Company (formerly Ledvance). On Dec. 24, they responded to smoke detector activations at two separate addresses on Mildred Street. On Dec. 26, they responded to a house fire on Frankfort Street and a smoke detector activation on Will Parkway. On Dec. 27, they responded to a fire in the kitchen of Melissa’s Cottage Café caused by a gas leak and a hazardous materials leak at Yokohama Industries (see front page). On Dec. 28, they responded to a false alarm about a vehicle on fire near the gas pumps at the Fast Stop on Tyrone Pike.

County Firefighters made four EMS assists from Dec. 22 to Dec. 28. On Dec. 24, they responded to a vehicle accident on I-64 East. On Dec. 25, they responded to a vehicle accident on U.S. 60 at the Bluegrass Parkway. On Dec. 26, they responded to a vehicle accident on the Bluegrass Parkway at mile marker 61. On Dec. 27, they responded to an alarm caused by a frozen sprinkler system on McCracken Pike and checked a controlled burn on Duckers Road. On Dec. 28, they responded to a false alarm on McCracken Pike. Public Records SUITS Petitions for the dissolution of marriage – Julia G. Navolio vs. James K. Navolio; Cassidy R. Hinkle vs. Eric S.
