District Court District court was not held the week of Dec. 28, 2020. Police Reports Versailles police responded to 10 non-injury motor vehicle accidents, one domestic-related complaint, issued two citations/summonses and made seven arrests. On Jan. 4, police made an arrest on Troy Pike for DUI and operating on a suspended/revoked license after an accident that damaged a KU pole and wire fencing. On Jan. 4, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Troy Pike that damaged a Dodge Ram pickup. On Dec. 29, police made an arrest on Frankfort Road for possession of methamphetamine and other charges. On Jan. 2, $250 in cash and diamond earrings worth $900 were reported stolen on Frankfort Road. On Jan. 3, police made an arrest on the U.S. 60 Bypass for violating a foreign EPO/DVO. On Jan. 2, police made an arrest on Depot Street for possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. On Dec. 29, a citations/summons was issued at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites for third-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. On Dec. 31, a long-haired dachshund worth $500 was reported stolen from a home on Coach Station Road in Midway. On Jan. 4, a citation/summons was issued on Lexington Road for trafficking in marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon and traffic violations. On Dec. 23, fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle and other traffic violations were reported on Lexington Road. On Dec. 29, police made an arrest on Lexington Road for trafficking in heroin and third-degree possession of a controlled substance. On Dec. 29, police made an arrest at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites for trafficking in heroin, possession of methamphetamine, contempt of court and possession of drug paraphernalia. Fire Reports City Firefighters made seven EMS assists from Dec. 29 to Jan. 4. On Dec. 31, they responded to a vehicle that crashed into Subway. On Jan. 4, they responded to a natural gas leak on Troy Pike.

County Firefighters made three EMS assists from Dec. 29 to Jan. 4. On Dec. 29, they responded to an illegal burn on Fintville Road. On Dec. 30, they responded to a false alarm on Troy Pike. On Dec. 31, they performed a carbon monoxide detector investigation on Venetian Way and responded to false alarms on Old Clifton Road and Troy Pike. On Jan. 2, they performed carbon monoxide detector investigations on Nottingham Drive and Venetian Way. On Jan. 4, they responded to a false alarm on McCracken Pike.
