Police Reports Versailles police responded to 12 non-injury vehicle accidents, two domestic-related complaints and made three arrests. On Jan. 11, furniture was reported vandalized at a Macey Avenue home, with damage estimated at $1,000. On Jan. 10, a Trump yard sign at an Elliston Lane home was reported vandalized, with damage estimated at $24. On Jan. 6, a leaf blower and other equipment worth a total of $550 was reported stolen from a vehicle on Colony Drive. On Jan. 8, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Troy Pike that caused $200 in damage to a Toyota Camry. On Jan. 8, police made an arrest on Hillcrest Drive for fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle and on foot. On Jan. 6, a Ridgewood Drive resident reported the theft of $418.13 in Green Dot prepaid gift cards. On Jan. 7, police made an arrest on Lexington Road for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding. On Jan. 7, harassment (no physical contact) was reported at a Winton Road home. On Jan. 4, a Bobcat skid loader worth $20,000 was reported stolen from a Dry Ridge Road construction site. On Jan. 7, a Sherpa throw worth $60 was reported stolen from a home on Lillards Ferry Road. On Jan. 5, a mailbox in a Macey Avenue apartment complex was reported vandalized and a social security card inside it was reported stolen. On Jan. 4, a package with clothing worth $200 was reported stolen from a Poplar Street home. On Jan. 4, a black Michael Kors purse and leather wallet worth a total of $230 was reported stolen from a Queensway Drive home. Fire Reports City Firefighters made six EMS assists from Jan. 5 to Jan. 11. On Jan. 5, they responded to an anhydrous ammonia leak at Yokohama Industries that forced the evacuation of the building and led six employees to seek medical treatment (see story on front page). On Jan. 6, they responded to a fire alarm at Sheridan Kentucky (formerly known as Quad/Graphics). On Jan. 8, they responded to a vehicle accident with injuries at Marsailles and Lexington roads and a carbon monoxide incident in a home on Meadow Lane. On Jan. 9, they responded to smoke from an electrical wiring problem at the Versailles Brewing Company that forced the evacuation of the building for about an hour. On Jan. 10, they responded to a smoke detector activation in a home on Adena Trace and a fire alarm at a home on Pine Grove Road.

County Firefighters made three EMS assists from Jan. 5 to Jan. 11. On Jan. 6, they responded to a chemical spill on Dogwood Court. On Jan. 7, they responded to a vehicle fire on Fishers Mill Road at Leestown Pike, an illegal burn on Clifton Road and checked a controlled burn on Carpenter Pike. On Jan. 11, they performed a natural gas investigation on Old Frankfort Pike.
