Layne) vs. Miguel Velasco-Palacios for damages and costs related to a June 4 motor vehicle accident. Police Reports Vehicle accident reports were unavailable late Tuesday afternoon. They’ll be in next week’s Sun. Versailles police made two arrests, issued one citation/summons and responded to two domestic-related complaints. On Oct. 10, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Lexington Street that damaged a Chevrolet Malibu and a Chevrolet Tahoe. On Oct. 8, a boat and boat trailer worth $12,000 were reported stolen from a home on Troy Pike. On Oct. 8, a Jack Russell mix worth $40 was reported stolen from a home on Scotts Ferry Road. On Oct. 7, an air compressor and other items worth a total of $575 were reported stolen from a rental facility on Crossfield Drive. On Oct. 8, police made an arrest on Lexington Road for possession of marijuana and several traffic violations. On Oct. 7, third-degree burglary involving Coleman camping equipment worth $164 was reported at a home on Kingsway Drive. On Oct. 5, tools worth $6,020 were reported stolen from a Lexington Road parking lot. On Oct. 5, theft by deception involving tools and equipment worth $699.96 was reported at a North Main Street specialty store. On Oct. 5, a citation/summons was issued for the shoplifting of $34.25 worth of items from a Lexington Street discount store. Fire Reports City Firefighters made seven EMS assists, installed seven car seats and one set of smoke detectors from Oct. 6 to Oct. 12. On Oct. 9, they responded to a fire alarm at Quad/Graphics. On Oct. 11, they responded to a smoke detector activation at a Laval Heights apartment complex. On Oct. 12, they responded to a malfunctioning fire alarm at Yokahama, an accident with injuries at the intersection of the U.S. 60 Bypass and Crossfield Drive involving three motor vehicles, a gas leak in U-Haul that forced the evacuation of the Lexington Road Plaza, and a fire alarm at the Versailles Municipal Building caused by a power surge.

County Firefighters made one EMS assist from Oct. 6 to Oct. 12. On Oct. 6, they performed a hydrant investigation on Wil Rose Lane. On Oct. 7, they responded to false alarms on McCracken Pike and Lexington Road. On Oct. 8, they responded to a grass fire on U.S. 60 East and a false alarm on McCracken Pike. On Oct. 9, they responded to a grass fire on Troy Pike, a gas leak on McCracken Pike, a motor vehicle accident on Pinckard Pike and checked a controlled burn on Old Clifton Road. On Oct. 10, they responded to a false alarm on McCracken Pike and checked a controlled burn on Hanover Court. On Oct. 11, they responded to a motor vehicle accident on Clifton Road.
