Brenda Renick Rollins, 71, passed away Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021.

The wife of Carl Rollins, Brenda was born May 7, 1949, to the late Sam and Grace Strode Renick in Barren County. Brenda graduated from Caverna High School in Horse Cave, then continued her education at Morehead State University, earning her master’s degree. She returned to Caverna High School, where she taught math, then continued her teaching career at Woodford County High School. Brenda later became a licensed realtor for Show Place Realty and was an active member of Midway Christian Church.

In addition to her loving husband, Carl Rollins of Midway, Brenda is survived by her daughter, Heather Dragan, Indiana; a brother, Tom Renick, Bowling Green; and her grandchildren, Hannah Dragan and Ryan Dragan.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Midway Cemetery in Midway, with the Rev. Heather McColl officiating. Ken Rollins, Jim Rollins, Mike Lawson, Brad Lawson, Greg Gresham and Aubrey Wells served as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Woodford County Humane Society.
