H.T. Reed, 69, of Versailles, husband of Mary Reed, died Saturday, April 16, 2016. Born Feb. 21, 1947, he was the son of the late Andrew and Hazel Rogers Reed. He was a farmer and later worked as a maintenance man for Taylor Manor Nursing Home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Herbert Reed and David (Melissa) Reed, both of Versailles; four sisters, Peggy and Marion, both of Winchester, Zannie, Versailles, and Rosemary, Campton; three brothers, Harry Reed, Winchester, Ricky Reed, Versailles, and Allen Reed, Lexington; four grandchildren, Joanna Rogers, James Reed, Kody Reed and Grace Reed; and four great-grandchildren, Leeland Rogers, David Rogers, and Thomas and Isabella Reed. Services were conducted Wednesday, April 20, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Herbert Reed, David Reed, James Reed, Kody Reed, Jeremy Williams and Felix Maxberry. Honorary bearers were Jeff Adams and Brain Shifflet.
