Delores Helmburg, 63, of Lawrenceburg, wife of Wayne Helmburg, died Thursday, March 9, 2017. Born Oct. 20, 1953, she was the daughter of the late John Preston and Enora Buck Yeary. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Chastity Helmburg, Lawrenceburg, and Ginger Toephart, Indiana; three sisters, Pam (Robert) Warford, Harrodsburg, Teresa Tudor, Versailles, and Kathy Preston, Versailles; a brother, George (Chelsea) Helmburg, Versailles; four grandchildren, Joseph McIntosh, Gracyn Helmburg, Patrick Helmburg, and Hailey Dunn; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Traugott; and a sister-in-law, Kitty Preston. A sister, Diane Traugott, and a brother, John William Preston III, are deceased. A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, March 14, at Camp Nelson Cemetery, Nicholasville, by the Rev. Donald Carter. Casket bearers were George Preston, Jimmy Traugott, Mike Barber, Brian Brown, Ollie Short, and Robert Warford. Clark Funeral Home, Versailles, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
