Jimmy J. Caster Barnett, 72, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born in Fayette County, he was the son of the late Sterling and Ora Pelphrey Barnett. Survivors include two children, Sheri Barnett, Lancaster, and Vaughn (Stacy) Barnett, Wilmore; a sister, Juanita Howard, Winchester; two brothers, Wayne (Margaret) Barnett, Lexington, and George (Linda) Barnett, Lawrenceburg; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A son, Danny Barnett, is deceased. Services were conducted Saturday, May 13, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Private burial was at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
