Robert A. Donato, 79, of Midway, husband of LaDona Leavelle Donato, died Saturday, July 1, 2017, in Lexington. Born May 30, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph and Rae Mungiole Donato. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a Thoroughbred horse trainer. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert Donato, Florida; a sister, Florinda Doelp, Pennsylvania; and a brother, Joseph Donato, Nevada. Services will be held in Pennsylvania.
