Donald Lee Miller, 89, father of Jeffrey Miller, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, at the VA Community Living Center on Leestown Road.
He was born in Louisville, to the late Owen and Alma Miller, on Sept. 19, 1932. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the US Air Force, having served in Korea as a military police officer. He was a founding member of St. Raphael Episcopal Church on Parkers Mill Road in Lexington. He was an avid golfer, bowler, fisherman and a lifelong member of the Lexington Lions Club.
In addition to his son, Jeffrey (Kathy) Owen Miller, Versailles, he is survived by his grandsons, Adam (Clare) Miller, Patrick, Addison and Chapman. He is also survived by a very special caregiver, Angela Moore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian (Gail) Miller; his son, Stephen Miller, his grandson, Austin Miller; and his brother, Tom Miller.
A private service is planned. Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
