THE CLASS OF 2023 WCHS graduates – at least some of them – threw their caps into the air after receiving their diplomas and officially graduating Saturday, May 27, at the close of their commencement ceremony at Community Stadium. (Photo by Marla Carroll)

SUPERINTENDENT award winner Eva Kate Probus, right, gave the commencement address during Woodford County High School’s graduation ceremony Saturday morning, May 27. Eva Kate focused on how the Class of 2023 had become a community and could carry that into their future. As she said, “This growing up together, under a one county, one school district philosophy is our greatest strength as a district. I firmly believe that through growing up together, we have had a unique opportunity to grow together, reflecting on lessons we learned and obstacles we overcame, and this growth is what fosters community within our class.” (Photo by Scott White)
