There was no regular District Court this week. However, Judge Bevins held a jail docket and one non-jail add on.

Joseph Bohn – domestic assault and criminal attempt to intimidate a participant in a judicial proceeding, 90 days, serve 12 and probate balance two years. No contact with victim.

Wade Walton – domestic assault. Six days.

Norman Rush – Menacing and criminal mischief. Time served, two days.

Non jail docket add-on. Speeding – Tenacious Love Lynn, state traffic school.

Fire Reports

City

The Versailles Fire Department EMTs made 24 EMS calls from Sept. 22 through Sept. 30.

On Sept. 24, firefighters responded to a report of a smoke odor on Rosewood Drive.

On Sept. 25, they responded to an injury vehicle accident on U.S. 60, a police matter on Troy Pike and a smoke scare on Lexington Road.

On Sept. 27, the responded to an electrical wiring problem on Preston Court and downed power lines on Virginia Avenue, Camden Avenue and Broadway Street.

On Sept. 28, they responded to downed power lines at two locations on Elm Street.

On Sept. 29, they responded to a person in distress in an elevator on Elm Street.

On Sept. 30, they responded to a gas leak on High Street and a hazardous condition on Barroway Lane.

County

The Woodford County Fire Department made five EMS calls and the following calls from Sept. 24 through Sept. 30.

On Sept. 24, firefighters responded to a false alarm caused by system trouble on Berry Avenue and a lock out on Misty Lane.

On Sept. 25, they responded to a false alarm from a faulty detector on Grassy Springs Road,, a false alarm due to a faulty system on McCracken Pike and a smoke scare on Belin Drive.

On Sept. 26, they responded to a medical pendent alarm on N. Hawthorne Court.

On Sept. 27, they investigated a smoke alarm on Tincher Drive two different times, responded to a tree fire and downed power line on Berlin Drive, an EMS assist from an overdose on Shryocks Ferry Road, a downed power line on Wiesenberger Mill Road, Sellers Mill Road, and McCracken Pike, a smoke detector alarm on Setti Place Road and a blown transformer and downed power line on Shannon Run Road.

On Sept. 28, they responded to a downed power line on Ravens wood Road and a smoke scare on Willow Court.

On Sept. 29, they responded to a downed power line on Setti Place Road, a power line arcing on Ravenswood Road and a carbon monoxide investigation on Peachtree Road.
