ENCHANTING BRIDAL, owned by Woodford County native Meleah Hysell Wolford, moved into the recently renovated building at 178 S. Main Street. Enchanting Bridal held its Woodford Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on Saturday, Feb. 21. Wolford, who has operated a bridal consulting and wedding planning business for several years, said moving into a downtown storefront location in Versailles was a “dream come true.” In addition to wedding planning, the store offers custom desserts, thanks to an in-house kitchen, gown and dress sales for weddings as well as proms and other events, tuxedo rentals, graphic design and venue decorating. Enchanting Bridal is open Wednesdays, 2 to 6 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays, 10 to 5 p.m., Saturdays, 10 to 4 pm, and by appointment on Sundays. Wilson added that a spacious and modern apartment is on the second floor and will soon be offered for rent. (Photo by Marie McLamb)
