I will be the coroner who not only cares for families during the most difficult moments of their lives, but also brings decades of experience serving Woodford County with compassion, dignity and professionalism. I have spent years helping families as a local funeral director, guiding them through loss with care and respect. That experience has given me a deep understanding of what families need most in grief: someone who is present, compassionate and trustworthy.
My years of service have prepared me for this office. I served as Woodford County assistant coroner from 1991 to 1994; and from 1994 to 2011, I served as deputy coroner and chief deputy coroner. I also served Woodford County as a funeral director and embalmer from 1997 to 2015, and as a first responder from 1994 to 2025. These years gave me firsthand knowledge of what this job requires and the importance of doing it the right way.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely and effectively with local law enforcement, detectives, EMS, fire departments, Kentucky State Police and federal agencies such as the FAA, FBI and ATF. I will be a hands-on coroner who shows up and does the job from start to finish.
I respectfully ask for your vote in the Republican primary on May 19.
