Ruby Katherine Cooper, 75, died Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Centerpoint Health – Versailles. She was born Sept. 3,1950, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, to the late Ernie and Gladys Hendrix Brooks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Lee Cooper Sr.; son, David Allen Cooper; and brother, William “Bill” Brooks.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Katherine L. Pack (Chris), Lexington; sons, Christopher Cooper, Versailles, and Stephen Cooper Jr., Versailles; her sister, Jane Hood, Versailles; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
