Michael Joseph Koontz, 83, of Versailles, died Oct. 14, 2026. He was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Bedford, Indiana, to the late Holland and Pauline Koontz.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; his sister, Sherry (Jackie) Young; his children, Rhonda (Scott) Wade and Rob (Julie) Koontz; and his grandchildren, Max Wade, Macey Wade, Ellie Wade, Grayson Koontz and Addison Koontz.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Logan Koontz.
There will be a Celebration of Life in the activity room of Daisy Hill on Nov. 7 from 1 to 4 p.m.
