Woodford County Business & Professional Women’s Club
The Woodford County Business and Professional Women’s Club’s monthly meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Mrs. Rogers’ Popcorn and Sweet Shoppe, 141 N. Main Street, Versailles.

Woodford County Retired Teachers Association
The Woodford County Retired Teachers Association will meet Thursday, Feb. 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Sparks Community Café, 175 N. Main Street, Versailles. The Association will have its business meeting at 10:30 followed by lunch. Please RSVP by email to in order to get an approximate number attending. The dates, times and locations for the reminder of the 2023 meetings are as follows: March 9, 6 p.m. Bobby Gaffney’s home and May 11, 11 a.m., 2 p.m., Ag Building. Versailles Kiwanis Club

Mentors & Meals
M&Ms provides homework help, hot meals,and team-building activities for enrolled middle school students from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Versailles Lions Club
The Versailles Lions Club meets at Callie’s Homestyle Restaurant the first Monday of each month at 5 p.m. The Lions are always accepting used eyeglasses with collection boxes at various locations including The Woodford Sun, Chamber of Commerce, Sheriff’s office and eye doctor offices. Woodford County Young Life
Information for the Super Bowl Meat Madness on Feb. 12 will be coming soon. The camp destination for this year will be Timberwolf Lodge, Michigan, for June 19-24. Reserve a spot soon.
