Buford-Landmark Masonic Lodge
On Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, Buford-Landmark Masonic Lodge No. 41 will hold its 2026 officers installation. The meal begins at 6:30 p.m. with the installation at 7:30 p.m. It’s open to the public. The lodge is located at 100 South Winter Street, Midway (above the post office).

Midway Toastmasters

South Woodford – Farm Land Preservation
A public meeting to discuss farm land preservation in South Woodford County and the threat of housing development sprawl will be held on Friday, Jan. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Troy Presbyterian Church Community Center, 11021 Troy Pike, Versailles. Survivors of Suicide
The Woodford Survivors of Suicide Loss Group meets the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the community room (5th floor) of the WesBanco building. The address is 100 United Drive, Versailles. Please contact Julie Renner at 859-421-7697 if you have any questions or would like to attend. 

Versailles Kiwanis Club
The club’s monthly meetings are held the fourth Tuesday each month at 11:30 a.m. at Callie’s Homestyle Restaurant.

Woodford County Amateur Radio Club
The January meeting of the Woodford County Amateur Radio Club will be held Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. in the first floor training area of the Versailles Fire Deptartment Station No. 2, 100 Big Sink Pike.  Anyone interested in amateur radio is invited to attend.

A nonprofit roundtable will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8 at the library.

Woodford County Democrats
The Woodford County Democrats meet at 5:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month in the comunity room of the courthouse. All registered Democrats are welcome. 
The Woodford County Democratic Women’s Club meets the fourth Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Versailles library. Linda Martin, of Roots, will be the guest speaker at the Jan. 26 meeting.

Woodford County NAACP
We meet at 10 a.m. every second and fourth Saturday in the Woodford Library Community Room. Everyone is welcome.

Woodford County Republican Party
The Woodford County Republican Party meets the first Monday of every month.
Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. at Versailles Brewing Company, 513 Marsailles Rd.

Woodford County Roots & Heritage Festival
This year our country will celebrate the 38th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. In observance of this day, Woodford County Roots & Heritage Festival, Inc. committee will celebrate Dr. King’s birthday by hosting its 16th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day breakfast on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at First Christian Church, 160 Lexington St., Versailles. Salvation Army Unit
The Woodford County Salvation Army Unit meets on the second Thursday of the month at Bluegrass Community Hospital at 11:30 a.m. in the second floor conference room. The unit is always looking for new volunteers. Salvation Army helps with many community organizations such as Coats and Shoes for Kids, Bluegrass Community Action, Family Resource Centers and the Red Kettle campaign. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Woodford Theatre 
Woodford Theatre presents The Mountaintop, a fictional account of the night before the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. Performances will be on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 7:30 p.m., with three Sunday matinees on Feb. 8, 15, and 22 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by visiting our box office Tuesday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by calling 859-873-0648.
