Community Bible Study
Psalm 119:105 – Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Come with a “thirst.” Bring a Bible, pen, paper and your coffee.
The study will be held at the Versailles Presbyterian Church Welcome Center, 130 N. Main St. on the first and third Saturdays at 10 a.m. with Minister Larry Blackford, lblackford.magistrate@gmail.com, 859-492-4075.

Mentors & Meals
Important dates: April 30, starting at 5:15 p.m., M&Ms will be hosting a Parent and Youth Cafe titled “Let’s Taco About It –  Screens, Substances, and Social Media.” Dinner and participant gifts will be provided to all registered guests 11 years and older.  You must enroll to attend. Go to the Mentors & Meals Facebook Page to find the QR code. On May 1-2, students are encouraged to attend the Book Club/Overnight at Life Adventure Center. On May 14, we will have the eighth grade celebration and it will be the last day of school year for M&Ms students. On June 9, the  summer meet ups begin (noon-5 p.m.). Midway Toastmasters
Midway Toastmasters meets every Monday at 6 p.m. in the basement of the Little Memorial Library on the Midway University campus. Meetings are open to the public and visitors are encouraged to attend. For more information, contact the club at nick@safetyreloaded.org or 859-397-5068.

Rotary Club of
Woodford County
The Rotary Club of Woodford County has a “meet and greet” at the Keeneland Track Kitchen on the first Friday of each month from 8-9 a.m. This is in addition to the monthly third Tuesday lunch/speaker meeting, which remains at Versailles Brewing Company from 12 noon - 1 p.m.

Survivors of Suicide
The Woodford Survivors of Suicide Loss Group meets the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the community room (5th floor) of the WesBanco building. The address is 100 United Drive, Versailles. Please contact Julie Renner at 859-421-7697 if you have any questions or would like to attend. 

Versailles Kiwanis Club
The club’s monthly meetings are held the fourth Tuesday each month at 11:30 a.m. at Callie’s Homestyle Restaurant.

Vumc Diaper Dash
The inaugural Diaper Dash 5K to benefit the diaper bank ministry at Versailles United Methodist Church will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. The race will begin at Falling Springs Recreational Center. Runners, joggers, walkers, and strollers are welcome. The well-marked and paved 5K path is entirely on the Falling Springs property. There will be a free Kids Sprint. Anyone who donates diapers at the race will have their name entered in a drawing for a free registration at a future RaceRise race. Prizes are awarded for the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers. Woodford County Chamber of Commerce
A Nonprofit Roundtable will be at the Woodford County Library on Friday, April 17 at 9:39 a.m.
Main Street Cleanup will celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m.  - noon. Meeet at the front of the courthouse.
On Tuesday, April 21, the Thrivent Wealth Mastery Series will be at  8:30 a.m. at the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce offices.

Woodford County Democrats
The Woodford County Democratic Party Executive Board will meet this month on Thursday, April 23, at 5:30 p.m.  in the community room at the court house. This is a change from our normal third Thursday meeteing.
The Woodford County Democratic Women’s Club meets the fourth Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Versailles library.

Woodford Co. Extension Homemakers Assn. 
Circle of Friends: third Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. 
Patchwork: third Monday of the month at 6 p.m.

Woodford Co. Extension Master Gardeners 
The Woodford County Extension Master Gardeners Monarch Waystation Grant Program is accepting grant applications through Friday, April 17 at 4:30 p.m. If you are wanting to attract pollinators to your yard, especially Monarch, it is time to apply. Each grant includes six native pollinator plants and four milkweed plants. 2026 applications are available online at https://tinyurl.com/bp7rw2am or can be picked up at the Woodford County Cooperative Extension Office, 184 Beasley Dr.
The Earth Day tree giveaway will be at Falling Springs Park on Saturday, April 18.
The  annual plant sale will be at Falling Springs Park on Saturday, May 9.

Woodford County NAACP
We meet every second Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Woodford Library Community Room. All are welcome.

Woodford County Republican Party
The Woodford County Republican Party meets the first Monday of every month.
Meetings are held at 7 p.m. at Versailles Brewing Company, 513 Marsailles Rd.

Woodford County
Salvation Army Unit
The Woodford County Salvation Army Unit meets on the second Thursday of the month at Bluegrass Community Hospital at 11:30 a.m. in the second floor conference room. The unit is always looking for new volunteers. Salvation Army helps with many community organizations such as Coats and Shoes for Kids, Bluegrass Community Action, Family Resource Centers and the Red Kettle campaign. Anyone is welcome to attend.
Woodford Theatre
Woodford Theatre Young Artists presents their Spring Showcase. Performances will be on April 24 at 7 p.m. and April 26 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by visiting our box office Tuesday-Friday from 11am-5pm or by calling 859-873-0648. You may also visit the Get Tickets tab on our website at www.woodfordtheatre.com. Come out and support our talented young performers.
