Love Lights a Tree
The “Love Lights a Tree” annual program will be held on Monday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at Versailles Presbyterian Church.
Cancer survivor Sandy Jones will be the speaker. This community event is open to everyone.

Midway Toastmasters
Midway Toastmasters meets every Monday at 6 p.m. in the basement of the Little Memorial Library on the Midway University campus. Meetings are open to the public and visitors are encouraged to attend. For more information, contact the club at nick@safetyreloaded.org or 859-397-5068.

Survivors of Suicide
The Woodford Survivors of Suicide Loss Group meets the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the community room (5th floor) of the WesBanco building. The address is 100 United Drive, Versailles. Please contact Julie Renner at 859-421-7697 if you have any questions or would like to attend.

Christmas Luncheon
The Versailles High School Class of 1962 will hold it’s third annual Christmas luncheon on Dec. 4, 2025 at Ricardo’s  at 11 a.m.

Versailles Kiwanis Club
The club’s monthly meetings are held the fourth Tuesday each month at 11:30 a.m. at Callie’s Homestyle Restaurant.

Woodford County Chamber of Commerce
Pink Friday is Nov. 21. This is a shopping event that occurs on the Friday before Black Friday, aimed at supporting small, local businesses. Created in 2020, this movement encourages shoppers to prioritize small retailers during the holiday season, promoting the idea of shopping small before going to larger stores.

Woodford County Democrats
The Executive Committee meet this month on at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20 in the community room of the courthouse. All registered Democrats welcome.
The Woodford County Democrats Women’s Club meets the second Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Versailles library.

Woodford County Historical Society
The election of board members and officers for the Woodford County Historical Society will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the society’s building at 121 Rose Hill Avenue. After the election, folks are invited to remain for a “show and  tell” program. Members are asked to bring small items of a historical nature to share and talk about. All are welcome.

Woodford County NAACP
We meet at 10 a.m. every second and fourth Saturday in the Woodford Library Community Room. Everyone is welcome.

Woodford County Retired
Teachers Association
The Woodford County Retired Teachers Association will meet Thursday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Ag Resource Building, 184 Beasley Rd., Versailles. We will have a catered Christmas dinner ($24), fellowship and fun. The WCRTA will be accepting donations to the Food Pantry for Woodford County and socks, mittens and gloves for students. Woodford County Republican Party
The Woodford County Republican Party meets the first Monday of every month.
Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. at Versailles Brewing Company, 513 Marsailles Rd.

Woodford County
Salvation Army Unit
The Woodford County Salvation Army Unit meets on the second Thursday of the month at Bluegrass Community Hospital at 11:30 a.m. in the second floor conference room. The unit is always looking for new volunteers. Salvation Army helps with many community organizations such as Coats and Shoes for Kids, Bluegrass Community Action, Family Resource Centers and the Red Kettle campaign. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Woodford County Woman’s Club
Join us at Pisgah Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. for a special Kentucky Humanities Council Chautauqua presentation featuring Lisa Woods in a portrayal of Loretta Lynn in “Memories of a Coal Miner’s Daughter.” You won’t want to miss this chance to see history come to life! Woodford Theatre 
Woodford Theatre presents ANNIE! Performances are December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m., with three Sunday matinees on December 7, 14, and 2t at 2 p.m. Tickets may be reserved in advance by calling our box office at 859-873-0648 or visiting from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
