NOTICE OF ENACTMENT AND
SUMMARY OF BOND RESOLUTION
The Woodford County Public Library District Board of Trustees, on
October 21, 2020, enacted a resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE WOODFORD COUNTY PUBLIC
LIBRARY DISTRICT PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF ITS GENERAL OBLIGATION
BONDS (LIBRARY RENOVATION PROJECT), THE PROCEEDS OF WHICH WILL BE USED
TO CONSTRUCT, RENOVATE, EXPAND AND EQUIP THE MAIN LIBRARY; SETTING FORTH
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH THE BONDS ARE TO BE ISSUED AND
OUTSTANDING; ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF AN ANNUAL TAX, TO
THE EXTENT NECESSARY, IN AN AMOUNT SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE INTEREST ON AND
PRINCIPAL OF THE BONDS; AND PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC SALE OF THE BONDS AND
THE APPLICATION OF THE PROCEEDS THEREOF.
Said Resolution:
A. Authorizes the issuance of a maximum principal amount of $3,750,000
(subject to adjustment downward by any amount) Woodford County Public
Library District General Obligation Bonds (Library Renovation Project)
(the “Bonds”) of said Library to finance the cost to construct,
renovate, expand and equip the main library in Versailles to be owned
and operated by the Library and for use by the citizens of Woodford
County (the “Project”).
B.  Authorizes the Bonds to be sold by public competitive sale and sets
the terms and conditions for the sale of the Bonds.
C.  Authorizes the President or the Vice President of the Library to
open the bids and accept the successful bid on behalf of the Library and
authorizes the President to execute and the Secretary to attest all
necessary documents, instruments and obligations of the Library in order
to issue the Bonds and to provide for the costs of the Project.
D.  To the extent necessary, orders and provides for the levy of an
annual tax in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest
on the Bonds.
E. Appoints U.S. Bank National Association, as bond registrar, paying
agent and transfer agent for the Bonds.
