Arrow Jackets compete at KHSAA state meet
The Arrow Jackets had a strong showing from their girls’ squad, which posted strong scores at the KHSAA state tournament in Lexington, April 21. For the second straight year, the girls’ team qualified for the tournament and they put up some solid scores led by Zoey Aspiranti, who scored 282 and recorded 15 tens. WCHS softball wins two straight
Two in a row. The Lady Jackets’ softball team won its first two games of the season after a 0-13 start and its most recent win was a comeback walkoff in the bottom of the seventh to beat Boyle County 8-7 in a chaotic finish.
