The Woodford County girls’ track and field team completed a three-peat, winning the regional title at George Rogers Clark High School May 8. Highlighted by individual regional titles from Charla Gormley, Addison Moore and the 4x400-meter relay team, Woodford’s girls put on a show to prove once again that it is a force in the world of track and field. Williams and Bishop qualify for state tennis tournament
The Racket Jackets had a great showing at the 8th Region tennis tournament, qualifying two players for the state tournament later this month. WCHS boys’ lacrosse wins district championship
The magical season continues for the Woodford County High School boys’ lacrosse team as the Jackets beat Lafayette 19-4 in the 8th District Championship game May 11 in Lexington.
