AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE  RELATING TO THE BANNING OF THROUGH
TRUCK TRAFFIC ON DESIGNATED COUNTY ROADS IN WOODFORD COUNTY, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, on March 22, 1994, the Woodford County Fiscal Court adopted an
ordinance relating to the banning of through truck traffic on designated
county roads in Woodford County, Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, Weisenberger Mill Bridge at the Woodford/Scott County line is
currently closed for eventual construction of a single-lane crossing
alternative, and for the safety and protection of motorists on
Weisenberger Mill Road, as well as for the residents who live along this
county roadway, and to preserve their property already being adversely
affected by these large commercial vehicles, such through truck traffic
should be prohibited.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE FISCAL COURT OF THE COUNTY OF
WOODFORD, COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY:
The prohibition against through truck traffic proscribed in section (2)
of the Woodford County Ordinance Relating to the Banning of Through
Truck Traffic on Designated Roads in Woodford County, Kentucky, is
amended to include all of Weisenberger Mill Road adopted into the
Woodford County Road System, and the Woodford County Road Supervisor is
authorized and directed to post “No Thru Trucks” signs at each end of
Weisenberger Mill Road.
The first reading of the above ordinance was held on September 24, 2019,
and the second reading was held on October 22, 2019.  A full and
complete copy of this ordinance is available for public inspection,
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., in the Woodford County
Judge/Executive’s Office, Second Floor, Woodford County Courthouse,

1011 CURRY PLACE DRIVE – 1.435 ACRES – RR TO RESIDUAL FARMLAND DISTRICT
AND 1.435 ACRES – RESIDUAL FARMLAND TO RR DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Planning and Zoning
Commission, after public hearing and otherwise according to law, having
recommended that a Zoning Map Amendment be approved for the Curry’s
Place View property at 1011 Curry Place Drive, Versailles, Woodford
County, Kentucky, 1.435 acres from RR to Residual Farmland District and
1.435 acres from Residual Farmland to RR District, based on findings
that said amendment is in compliance with the Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Court at its October 8, 2019, regular meeting voted
to accept the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission and
approve the requested zone change based upon the Summary of Evidence and
Findings of Fact and Recommendation adopted and submitted by the Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Fiscal Court of the County of
Woodford, Commonwealth of Kentucky, as follows:
The subject property, containing 1.435 acres, is rezoned from RR to
Residual Farmland District and 1.435 acres from Residual Farmland to RR
District, and the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Zoning Map shall be
amended to reflect this change, upon plat approval by the Planning
Commission.
The first reading of the above ordinance was held on October 8, 2019,
and the second reading will be held on November 12, 2019, 5:30 p.m. or
shortly thereafter, in the Fiscal Court Meeting Room, Second Floor,
Woodford County Courthouse, Versailles, Kentucky.  A full and complete
copy of this ordinance with exhibit is available for public inspection,
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., in the Woodford County
Judge/Executive’s Office, Second Floor, Woodford County Courthouse, 103
